Station
A Station can be any Node, representing a network entity capable to accommodate
- a connection either with a pipe and/or
- a connection with pipe fittings and accessories (i.e Components).
A Station is a special collection of network data. The simplest contained data entity is called “ a node”. The nodes depending on the type of information they carry are categorized as
- Topological nodes
- Device nodes or Components
A station includes one topology node (red cube) and any number of device nodes required to describe local characteristics and features as well as boundary conditions (BC).
