Topological Node
A node is defined as a topological point of interest in the geographical space. A node is characterized by
- a unique ID and
- three spatial coordinates
- (X,Y,Z) defined in appropriate units
One topological node is the necessary block to build a station
2D networks
X (X represents pipe length) and Z (pipeline height) Coordinates are the minimum requirements for 2D networks (while is defined Y=0)
3D networks
For a 3D description provide Y values as well.
